One day I was asked to lay off a few thousand hard working individuals because they cost the company money. The company had no concern for the years of dedication, the long hours of work, the minimal vacation and acceptance of dismal pay these people had endured. They only cared about their bottom line.

I had been successful at transforming organizations into competitive, market driven entities by transforming groups into high performing teams. With over 25 years in corporate leadership, my experience spans the globe in

adding business value through strategy development, innovative product development and business operations. But in my corporate role, I could not prevent the organization from creating devastation in the lives of these families. 

I could not prevent the layoffs. I could help these people find their way. I could help them see their potential, build their courage, keep their confidence and ignite their purpose. Once I chose this path, I discovered my true purpose.
